Introducing the BMW Concept X4

This week at the Shanghai International Auto Show, BMW reveled the exterior of what they're calling the 2014 BMW Concept X4. Taking a number of design cues from it's older and larger brother, the X6, the X4 is BMW's newest 5-door Sports Activity Coupe. The X4 is slated for a likely 2014 model year release and will be produced at BMW's Spartanburg, SC facility.Full Blog Post »

Kuni BMW at the Portland Auto Show

It's that time of year again. Time for the Portland International Auto Show. The family oriented show will feature vehicles from nearly every manufacturer as well as featured booths for fuel economy, kids, the outdoors, and more. BMW 4 Series Coupe Revealed at Detroit Auto Show

It's official, BMW's 4 Series is replacing the current 3 Series Coupe and Convertible. The number "4" is a first for BMW, but even those skeptical of the new Series have to admit that the new 4 Series Coupe Concept is the finest rendition of the 3 Series Coupe they've ever seen. All New 3 Series Named IIHS Top Safety Pick

The all-new BMW 3 Series Sedan has been named a "Top Safety Pick' by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. In order to be named a top pick, a vehicle must receive the top rating in all four categories, as well as be equipped with an electronic stability control system, such at BMW Dynamic Stability Control.

BMW Introduces BMW M Performance Parts for the 3 and 5 Series Sedans

BMW today announced new BMW M Performance Parts specially designed for the new 2012 BWW 3 Series Sedan and 2011-2012 5 Series Sedan. Like the BMW M Performance Parts already available for the high-performance M3, 1 Series M Coupe, X5 M and X6 M, the components developed for 3 Series and 5 Series models ensure an authentic transfer of BMW M-specific motor racing technology to everyday driving.

2013 BMW X1 to debut at New York Auto Show

The X1 is coming to the United States for the first time after having been available to other parts of the globe for several years. Smaller than the X3, it is more affordable and even sportier than its bigger brother. The X1 will feature the same N20 2.0 liter four-cylinder TwinPower turbocharged engine that is found in the 2012 BMW Z4 sDrive28i and 2012 BMW 328i sedan. BMW is targeting a younger demographic that enjoys outdoor activities but needs a vehicle suitable to an urban environment.The X1's official debut will be next month at the New York Auto Show, and by September it will be available for sale in U.S. dealerships.

Not so "Sirius" anymore

The popular Sirius Satellite Radio might be replaced by BMW's new Stitcher Smart Radio iPhone App. BMW is partnering with Stitcher to make an incredibly versatile app, providing seamless entertainment features integrated into the BMW iDrive.
Features include:

  • Personalized access to over 5,000 radio shows
  • Easy searches for content and the ability to provide feedback such as "More Like This" and "Listeners Also Like"
  • The ability to create or delete stations
  • High-resolution display on the iDrive screen featuring album art, show/episode information, and whether or not the listener has already listened to an episode

2013 BMW X6 to arrive this spring

BMW has just set the bar even higher with its one-of-a-kind Sports Activity Coupe, the X6. The X6 is the world's first Sports Activity Coupe ? an aggressive blend of an SUV with the stance and sporty frame of a coupe. For the 2013 model year, the X6 will be refreshed with light-emitting diodes, front and rear. Choices in engine power will range from powerful to more powerful (or in other words) the X6 xDrive35i with a 300-hp inline six-cylinder engine to the beefed up X6 xDrive50i model with a 400-hp twin-turbo V8. And for those who desire even more horsepower, they can opt for the M Performance package, an upgrade of 15 hp, plus spiffed out 20? wheels, black chrome exhaust tips, stainless steel pedals and other trim details.
