High Praise for the New 3 Series from Top Gear Host

Here at Kuni BMW, we've been raving about the latest iteration of the BMW 3 Series sedan since it first pulled into our showroom back in February. We're not the only ones, either: critics around the globe are lauding the impressive styling and performance of the sixth generation of this beloved BMW. And in Europe, they have an additional model to love: the BMW 320d.
One such critic in particular, Top Gear host, Richard Hammond, goes so far as to say, "this latest iteration of the BMW 3-Series is possibly the best car ever made."1 Which, when you consider the number of vehicles Hammond has driven in his lifetime...that's pretty high praise.
While the Clean Diesel Technology that powers the Euro-spec 320d might not be available here in Oregon, many of the things Hammond found to love about the new 3 Series are integral parts of the US version. Such as: the clean and sharp styling, the practically unmatched handling, top-of-the-line comfort and features, and three customizable trim lines.
Hammond very specifically heaps praise upon the 2.0-liter, four-cylinder diesel engine, with 181 bhp and a 0-62 time of just 7.7 seconds. Even with all that power, the peppy 320d boasts an impressive 52 mpg on the European test cycle.
In fact, the only thing Hammond could find to complain about was an interior feature of his test model. "The Sport trim level, which our car is, features a red stripe that runs across the dashboard that I don't like. Much."2
