BMW Teams Up With Big Ten Conference
Who better to partner with the best-of-the-best in college sports than the best-of-the-best in luxury vehicles? That's right, BMW has officially announced their place as the luxury automobile of the Big Ten Conference.
The Big Ten sponsors 25 official conference sports - in other words, about 300 football, basketball, baseball and Olympic sports teams. That's just under 10,000 male and female student athletes, all competing for the Big Ten Championships running through the 2011-2012 college sports seasons.
As the official luxury automaker of the Big Ten Conference, BMW will get high exposure at major sporting events throughout the world. And for those BMW drivers in attendance? BMW has a "Preferred Parking Promotion," providing reserved parking at major Big Ten events exclusively for BMW owners.
"Much like the student athletes of the Big Ten Conference, BMW is a brand dedicated to the highest levels of performance," says Scott Bailey, General Manager, Big Ten Sports Properties. "We couldn't think of a better group to work with and are looking forward to a great relationship together."1
If you'll be keeping your eyes on the games at home, be sure to watch for BMW's creative ad spots. And, if you're lucky enough to attend a live event, remember to take advantage of the preferred parking program!
